Searching and Browsing Assets


Purpose

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for searching, filtering, and browsing assets in the Mirrix application. Follow the steps below to efficiently find the assets you need.


Step-by-Step Instructions


Step 1: Access the Application

  • Open your preferred web browser.
  • Navigate to the Mirrix login page.

Step 2: Sign In to Your Account

  • Enter your registered email address in the username field.
  • Type your password.
  • Click the Login button.
  • You will be automatically redirected to the Mirrix Homepage.

Step 3: Perform a Search

  • Go to the search bar, type your search keyword.
  • Click on the Search button

For example, type "Doll" to find all assets related to dolls. The results will show the total number of matching items (e.g. 150 items).

Step 4: Refine Your Search

Use the Refine Search bar to narrow down results by category. Available categories include Name, Image Description, Alt Text, and Tags.

  • Click Name (31) to display only assets whose name matches your keyword.

  • Click Image Description (124) to additionally include assets whose image description matches your keyword. The results will now show assets where either the Name or Image Description contains your search term.

Step 5: Verify Your Results

  • Click on any asset in the results list to open it. For example: Barbie Mermaid Doll – Blue_Lifestyle Image 1.
  • Confirm that the asset’s Name and Image Description contain your search keyword (e.g., “Doll”).

Step 6: Further Filter Your Results

  • Click the AND button to add an additional filter alongside your existing search.
  • In the Input field, type the next keyword (e.g. barbie).

  • Select the category Brand (1) to filter results by brand name.

  • Click on an asset and verify that both conditions are met the Name and Image Description contain “Doll” and the Brand is “Barbie”.

  • When you’re done, click Save Search to save your filters for future use, or click Clear Search to reset and start over.

Step 7: Search from a List

  • Select Search from List to search using a predefined list. You can search by ID, Name, or a combination of both.

  • Click Clear All at any time to clear all selected list items and start fresh.
