PoD - Import Mass Products

Purpose

This guide provides a step-by-step process for utilizing the PDF on Demand feature, including selecting templates, uploading files, and managing requests. It is designed for users who need to generate and manage PDF documents efficiently.


Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Navigate to the PDF on Demand Page

To access the PDF generation features:

·        Open your web browser and navigate to the Homepage.

·        Click the PDF on Demand tab to proceed to the template selection page.

Step 2: Select a Template

To choose a template for your PDF:

·        From the list of available templates, click the Select Template button next to your desired option.

For example, you can choose the **Sales Poster** template for promotional

materials.

Step 3: Import Products

To import product data for your PDF:

·        Click the Import Mass Products button.

·        Click on the area labeled Click to upload or drag files here to select your product file.

·        Choose a valid file

·        Click the Validate Excel button to check the file for errors.

Step 4: Generate PDF

To create your PDF document:

·        Click the Generate PDF button after ensuring your data is validated.

·        Enter any necessary context information in the input field provided.

·        Monitor the status as the PDF generation process begins.

Step 5: Manage PDF Requests

On this screen: The My POD Requests page displays information such as Request ID, Products, and Status.

To view and manage your PDF requests:

·        Navigate back to the PDF on Demand page.

·        Click the My POD Requests button to access your submitted requests.

·        Select a specific request, such as REQ1468, to view its details.

·        Click on the Download button to save the generated PDF to your device.

Step 6: Reuse Generated PDFs

To reuse a previously generated PDF:

·        Select the relevant PDF request and click the Reuse button to initiate a new request using the same parameters.
